The building
Lo Scudo di Stabio features a cork cladding with embedded photovoltaic panels.
A tribute to the historic shield, which Lo Scudo di Stabio is named after, to the local wine culture, and above all to the innovative renewable energy production system combining sustainability with design.
An extensive green roof allows for more biodiversity, restoring the local flora.
Furthermore, the energy monitoring is made with the aim to achieve a “continuous improvement” of the building performance.
