The Lo Scudo di Stabio project was among the finalists of the 2022 Symposium, organised by Active House Alliance Netherlands. The award ceremony took place in De Doelen, Rotterdam (The Netherlands) on April 13, 2022.

The theme of the Active House Awards 2022 was “Transforming active spaces”

The Active House international alliance is in fact a platform that connects academic and knowledge institutions, designers and planners, developers and builders, manufacturers in the construction sector, united by the goal of creating healthy buildings for people and the planet.

Active House's vision is to create buildings that create healthier and more comfortable lives for their occupants without negative impact on the climate. Comfort, Energy, Environment are the principles that have guided Active House partners since 2011.

The 2022 Symposium invited an answer to the question: how can we renew in a circular and cost-effective way with health, comfort and the resident in mind? The focus is therefore how to address the need to create environmentally sustainable, more efficient buildings, without penalising the well-being of citizens.

Lo Scudo di Stabio, chosen among the finalists of the award, has demonstrated its ability to grasp the idea behind Active House, combining attention to sustainability with functional and elegant solutions that focus on the pleasure of the experience of living in a building and in a territory.
